Managing Events

Create, edit, and delete calendar events — plus learn how to use different calendar views to stay organized.

Your calendar isn't just for viewing. You can create events, update them as plans change, and remove ones you no longer need. Everything stays in sync across your workspace.

Creating an event

There are two quick ways to add an event:

  • Click a time slot — In day or week view, click on an empty time slot. A new event form opens with the time pre-filled.
  • Use the create button — Click the + New Event button at the top of the calendar. Fill in the details and pick your date and time.

When creating an event, you can set:

  • Title and description — What the event is about
  • Date and time — When it starts and ends (or mark it as all-day)
  • Attendees — Invite team members who should join
  • Recurrence — Make it repeat daily, weekly, monthly, or on a custom schedule
  • Reminders — Get notified before the event starts

Editing an event

Click on any event to open its details. From there, hit Edit to change anything — the title, time, attendees, or description. For recurring events, you'll be asked whether you want to update just this occurrence or the entire series.

Changes to shared events notify all attendees automatically, so everyone stays in the loop.

Deleting an event

Open the event and click Delete. You'll see a confirmation before anything is removed. For recurring events, you can choose to delete a single occurrence or the full series.

Switching calendar views

Use the view toggle at the top of the calendar to switch between Day, Week, and Month views. The calendar remembers your last-used view, so it's ready the way you like it next time you come back.

  • Day view works best for detailed scheduling and spotting conflicts
  • Week view is ideal for planning your work across several days
  • Month view helps you see the big picture and identify busy periods

Use the arrow buttons to navigate forward and backward in time, or click Today to jump back to the current date.
