Setting Up a Plugin

Walk through the guided wizard that copies a plugin's skills into your library and connects the apps it needs.

Setting up a plugin is a short, guided process. Open a plugin from the Library and the setup wizard walks you through it.

The setup steps

Preview. The wizard shows exactly what the plugin will install — which skills it will copy and which connectors it needs. Click Start setup when you're ready.

Skills. The plugin's skills are copied into your private library automatically. You'll see them land under Mine.

Connectors. If the plugin needs any apps, the wizard lists them. Click Connect on each one — authorization opens for that app — and the wizard checks them off as they connect. Plugins that need no connectors skip this step.

Done. Once the skills are copied and any connectors are linked, the plugin is ready.

After setup

From the final step you can:

  • Open the assistant — jump straight into a chat with the plugin's new skills available.
  • View my skills — go to the Mine tab to see the copied skills, edit their instructions, or assign them to agents.

Setup remembers where you are. If you close the wizard partway — say, after the skills copy but before you've connected every app — reopening the plugin picks up at the connectors step instead of starting over.

If a connector is already connected

The wizard only asks you to connect apps that aren't linked yet. Connectors your workspace already has stay as they are, and the wizard marks them complete automatically.
