Managing Notifications
Filter, group, sort, and work through your inbox efficiently with the two-panel layout.
A busy workspace generates a lot of notifications. The inbox gives you powerful tools to cut through the noise and focus on what needs your attention right now.
Filtering notifications
Use the filter tabs at the top of your inbox to narrow down what you see:
- All — Every notification, read and unread
- Unread — Only items you haven't opened yet
- Archived — Notifications you've dismissed but might want to reference later
Filters are instant. Click a tab and the list updates immediately, so you can quickly switch between viewing everything and zeroing in on unread items.
Grouping by date
Notifications are automatically grouped by date — Today, Yesterday, This Week, and Earlier. This makes it easy to process things chronologically and see at a glance whether you've fallen behind.
Sorting options
You can sort your notifications by:
- Newest first — The most recent notifications at the top (default)
- Oldest first — Work through notifications in the order they arrived
Choose the order that matches how you like to work. Some people prefer tackling the latest items first, while others like to clear older notifications before moving on.
The two-panel layout
Your inbox uses a resizable two-panel layout. The left panel shows your notification list, and the right panel shows the full content of the selected notification.
- Click a notification to see its full details in the right panel
- Drag the divider between panels to resize them to your preference
- On mobile, the layout stacks vertically — tap a notification to see its details
This layout lets you scan through notifications quickly without losing context. You can read the details, take action, and move on to the next item without navigating away.
Mark individual notifications as read or unread by right-clicking them, or use the bulk actions to mark all as read at once.
