Knowledge Base
Upload your documents and let AI search through them — get accurate answers pulled directly from your team's content.
Your knowledge base is where Opisense stores the information your AI actually uses. Upload documents, and the AI indexes them so you can ask questions in plain English and get answers grounded in your real content — not generic guesses.
What the knowledge base does
Think of it as a smart filing cabinet. You drop in documents, and instead of manually digging through pages, you just ask the AI what you need. It reads everything, understands the context, and pulls out the right answer.
Here's what makes it useful:
- Upload any document — PDFs, Word files, text files, and more. Just drag and drop, and Opisense handles the rest.
- Conversational search — Ask questions in natural language. The AI searches across your documents and answers in plain English with numbered citations like
[1]and[2]pointing back to the source. - Per-org isolation — Each workspace's index is separate. The agent can never reach into another workspace's documents, even if you ask it to.
- Follow-up aware — Once the agent has retrieved relevant chunks, it can answer follow-ups without re-searching when the topic hasn't shifted.
How it works
The process is simple:
- Upload your documents to the knowledge base
- Opisense processes each document automatically — reading, chunking, and embedding the content so the AI can search it
- Ask questions in the chat interface; the agent calls a
search_kbtool, retrieves relevant chunks, and answers with citations
You don't need to tag files, create folders, or organize anything. The AI understands the content itself, so it can find what you need regardless of how you've named or arranged your files.
