Project Settings
Configure your project's name, identifier, and other details from the settings panel.
Every project has a Settings tab where you can update its configuration. To get there, open a project and click the Settings tab in the project navigation.
Configuration options
Here's what you can manage from project settings:
| Setting | Description | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Project name | The display name shown in the sidebar, search, and project list | Keep it clear and descriptive |
| Description | A short summary of what the project is about | Helps team members and your AI assistant understand the project's purpose |
| Identifier | A short code (e.g., "MKT", "ENG") used as a quick reference | Must be unique within your workspace; 2-4 uppercase letters recommended |
| Cover image | An optional visual for the project card in grid view | Helps distinguish projects at a glance |
Updating settings
Click into any field to edit it, then save your changes. Updates take effect immediately and appear in the project's activity log so your team knows what changed.
Changing a project's identifier may affect bookmarks or shared links that reference the old code. Let your team know before making this change.
Danger zone
At the bottom of the settings page, you'll find the option to delete the project. This removes the project and all its documents permanently. Opisense asks you to confirm by typing the project name before deletion goes through — so you won't accidentally delete anything.
