AgentForce is where your team works with specialized AI agents — each focused on one role, each chat-ready. It ships with a curated catalog of 4 default agents (customer-support, sales, research, content-creator) and an agent builder admins use to create their own custom agents — up to 20 per org.
Catalog agents and custom agents appear side-by-side on the hub. Open it from AgentForce in the sidebar, or navigate to /agentforce directly.
The catalog
Out of the box, every org has these four agents available:

| Sales Assistant | Qualifies leads, drafts proposals, supports the sales motion |
| Research Analyst | Gathers information, synthesizes findings, produces reports |
| Content Creator | Writes, edits, and shapes content in your brand's voice |

Custom agents
Admins can build custom agents from /admin/agents → + New agent. Each custom agent has its own identity (name, icon, color, description, model), instructions, and toolkit.
Your org can have up to 20 custom agents. A counter on the admin page shows N / 20 so you know how many slots remain.
Once published, custom agents appear on the hub for every member with full chat, threads, memory, and tool calling — the same experience as catalog agents.
How it works
Open the hub
Click AgentForce in the sidebar to land on /agentforce. You'll see a search bar at the top and a card for each enabled agent.
Pick an agent
Click an agent's card to open its chat at /agentforce/<slug>/chat. A fresh thread is created automatically.
Use a suggested prompt — or write your own
Each agent's empty state shows three suggested starter prompts tailored to its role. Click one to drop it into the composer, or just type your own.
Iterate in the thread
The thread stays in the sidebar so you can come back to it. Open a new thread anytime with + New conversation.

Workspace admins enable or disable individual agents and manage custom agents from /admin/agents. See Admin controls.
