AI Agents

Create specialized AI workers that handle specific jobs for your team — from customer support to data analysis.

AI Agents (called AI Employees in the Opisense app) are custom AI workers you build for specific roles. Instead of asking your personal assistant to handle everything, you can create focused agents that are experts at one job.

Think of agents like new team members. You give each one a name, a role description, a personality, the right tools, and access to the knowledge it needs. Then anyone on your team can chat with it, assign it work, or let it run on autopilot.

What can agents do?

Agents are flexible. Here are some common examples:

  • Answer customer questions using your help docs and FAQs
  • Generate weekly reports from your project data
  • Draft content in your brand's voice and style
  • Triage incoming messages and route them to the right person
  • Monitor data and alert you when something needs attention

Each agent works independently with its own memory, knowledge, and capabilities. You can have as many agents as you need, each handling a different part of your workflow.

Key capabilities

Every agent you create comes with a powerful set of features:

  • Tools — Give your agent specific capabilities like document search, email drafting, or data analysis
  • Personality — Define how your agent communicates, its tone, and behavioral guidelines
  • Memory — Your agent remembers past conversations and learns from interactions over time
  • Knowledge — Connect agents to specific documents and data sources so they have the right context
  • Scheduling — Set agents to run tasks automatically on a recurring schedule
  • Permissions — Control who on your team can access and interact with each agent

How it works

Creating an agent takes just a few minutes. At a high level, the process looks like this:

Define the role

Give your agent a name, a description, and clear instructions about what it should do.

Configure personality and tools

Set the communication style and attach the tools your agent needs to get its job done.

Connect knowledge

Link the documents and data sources your agent should reference when answering questions.

Launch and iterate

Start chatting with your agent, see how it responds, and fine-tune its configuration based on real conversations.
