Issues
Track work items across your organization with flexible layouts, powerful filters, and saved views.
Issues are how you track real work in Opisense — bugs, features, chores, and everything in between. Open Issues from the sidebar to see every work item in your organization, filter and sort them the way you think, switch between five layouts, and save combinations you use often.
Issues are not the same as Tasks. In Opisense, Tasks are scheduled AI automation — recurring instructions your assistant runs on a cadence. Issues are human-tracked work items with status, assignees, and due dates. Projects are shared workspaces for documents and activity; issues can belong to a project but live in the Issues area.
What you can do
- See work your way — List, Board, Calendar, Timeline, or Spreadsheet layout
- Filter deeply — Status, priority, type, assignee, labels, project, creator, dates, and text search
- Group and sort — Bucket issues by status, priority, type, or assignee; sort by due date, priority, and more
- Save views — Store filter + layout combinations as personal or team views
- Scope to a project — See all org issues or focus on one project's backlog
- Share URLs — Filter state encodes into the link so teammates land on the same slice of work
Quick start
Open Issues
Click Issues in the sidebar. You'll land on the List layout showing all issues in your organization (or the project you last had selected).
Switch layout
Use the layout switcher in the header — List, Board, Calendar, Timeline, or Spreadsheet. Each layout uses the same filters; only the presentation changes.
Filter your work
Click Filter in the toolbar to add conditions — for example, status In Progress and priority High. Active filters appear as removable chips below the toolbar.
Save a view
When you've dialed in a useful combination, open the View menu and choose Save current view… Give it a name, pick a default layout, and optionally share it with your team. Apply it anytime from the View menu or the Views tab.
Issues vs Projects vs Tasks
| Feature | What it is | Where to go |
|---|---|---|
| Issues | Work items — status, assignees, due dates, labels | Sidebar → Issues (/task-management) |
| Projects | Team workspaces — documents, activity, settings | Sidebar → Projects |
| Tasks | Scheduled AI automation — recurring assistant runs | Tasks feature guide |
Issues can be linked to a project. When you open Issues from a project context, you only see that project's work items and can save project-scoped views.
Header tabs
The Issues header has two tabs:
- Issues — The active layout (list, board, etc.) with filters and controls
- Views — Manage saved personal and team views
Additional tabs (Cycles, Modules, Pages) appear in the header but are not yet available.
