Find a skill in the catalog
Search the Library catalog to find the skill you need.
Beginner · ~5 min · Prerequisites: None
What you'll do
Search the Library catalog, read a skill's details, and decide whether to use it as-is or copy it to customize.
Steps
Open the Library and pick a tab
Click Library in the sidebar. The catalog organizes skills across three tabs:
- Built-in — skills that ship with Opisense, available to everyone.
- Organization — skills your team has shared across the workspace.
- Mine — your own private skills.
Start on Built-in to see what's already available, or on Organization to see what your team has published.
Search by name, description, or tag
Type in the search box at the top of the catalog. It filters across names, descriptions, categories, and tags — all tabs at once — so you can find a capability without knowing which tab it lives in.
Switch between grid and list views to scan results in the format that works best for you.
Open a skill card to read what it does
Click any skill card to open its detail view. You'll see the skill's name, what it does, and any notes about how it behaves. Read the description carefully — similar-sounding skills can have meaningfully different behaviors.
Decide: use it as-is or copy it
If the skill does exactly what you need, you can use it directly from Built-in or Organization. If you want to tweak its instructions, click Copy to get your own editable version under Mine. See Copy a skill into your library for the full walkthrough.
