Organize and remove skills
Keep your private library tidy by organizing and removing skills.
Intermediate · ~5 min · Prerequisites: skills in Mine
What you'll do
Review what's in your Mine tab, remove skills you no longer use, and keep the ones you keep easy to find.
Review what's in Mine
Click Library in the sidebar and switch to the Mine tab. This is your private collection — every skill you've copied or created lives here. If the list is long, use the search box to filter by name or description.
Look for skills you haven't used in a while, duplicates with similar names, or copies that were one-off experiments. These are good candidates to remove.
Remove a skill you don't use
Open the skill card for a skill you want to clear out. Use the remove or delete action to pull it from Mine. Removing it affects only your copy — no one else is impacted, and the original Built-in or Organization version stays in the catalog.
For details on the remove action and what it does, see Managing skills.
Re-copy if you need it again
Removing a skill doesn't close the door. The original stays in the Built-in or Organization tab, and you can copy it again any time. You'll start from the original, so any edits you made to your previous copy are gone — if there's a version worth keeping, export or note the instructions before you remove it.
Keep names clear
If you've customized a copied skill, rename it to reflect what it actually does now. A name like "Send email — concise replies" is easier to find — and easier for the assistant to pick — than "Send email (copy)".
Clear names also help when you're building a workflow that chains several skills: you want to know at a glance what each one does.
Skills in Mine are visible only to you. Keeping your list short and clearly named makes it faster to find the right skill and helps the assistant invoke the right one automatically.
