Troubleshoot a plugin setup
Diagnose and fix a plugin setup that didn't complete.
Intermediate · ~10 min · Prerequisites: None
What you'll do
Identify why a plugin setup did not complete and take the right steps to finish it — or recover from a connector that failed to link or a skill that did not appear.
Setup didn't finish
If you closed the setup wizard partway through, or the wizard timed out, open the Plugins tab in the Library, find the plugin, and click its card. Look for a Resume setup or Continue option to pick up where you left off. The skills that were already copied to Mine remain; only incomplete connector steps need attention.
If no resume option appears, click Set up again. The wizard detects previously completed steps (including already-linked connectors) and skips them.
A connector won't link
If an app's OAuth flow fails or the connection shows as broken:
- Make sure you are signed in to that app in another browser tab.
- Return to the wizard and click Connect for that app again.
- Grant the permissions on the consent screen and wait for the confirmation indicator.
If the consent screen does not load, try clearing third-party cookies for that app's domain or switching to a different browser. Some enterprise apps also require an admin to approve the OAuth connection before it goes through — check with your IT team if re-authorization keeps failing.
A bundled skill is missing
Open the Mine tab in the Library and search for the skill by name. If it does not appear:
- Return to the plugin card in the Plugins tab.
- Re-run the setup wizard. It copies any missing skills and skips the ones already in place.
If the skill still does not appear after re-running setup, check that you are looking at the correct workspace — some organizations have multiple workspaces, and skills copy only to the workspace where you set up the plugin.
Still stuck
If you have worked through the steps above and the plugin is still not working correctly, see the Library troubleshooting reference for a full list of known issues and resolution steps.
