Notifications
Control how and when Opisense notifies you — through email, in-app alerts, and digest summaries.
Notifications keep you in the loop without overwhelming you. You can fine-tune exactly what you hear about and how, under Settings > Notifications.
Email preferences
Choose which events trigger an email notification. You can toggle emails on or off for categories like:
- Mentions — When someone tags you in a comment or message
- Task updates — When tasks assigned to you change status
- Agent activity — When your AI agents complete scheduled runs or encounter errors
- Workspace announcements — Important updates from workspace admins
You don't have to pick all or nothing. Turn on what matters and silence the rest.
In-app notifications
In-app notifications appear in your notification center inside Opisense. These are real-time alerts that show up as you work, so you never have to leave the app to stay informed.
You can configure in-app notifications separately from email. For example, you might want in-app alerts for task updates but only email notifications for agent errors.
Digest frequency
If you'd rather not get notified in real time, digests bundle your notifications into a summary delivered on a schedule you choose:
- Instant — Get notified right away (default)
- Hourly — A summary every hour
- Daily — One email at the end of each day
- Weekly — A weekly recap
Digests only affect email notifications. In-app notifications are always delivered in real time.
Muting
Need a break? You can mute specific channels, projects, or conversations to stop notifications from them entirely. Muted items won't send you emails or in-app alerts until you unmute them.
This is great for projects you're watching but not actively working on, or busy chat channels that don't need your attention right now.
