Draft an email for review
Compose an email the assistant writes and you approve before it sends.
Beginner · ~5 min · Prerequisites: an email connector (Gmail) helps
What you'll do
Ask the assistant to draft an email, review the result, and approve it before it reaches anyone's inbox.
The quick way: just ask
"Draft a reply to Sara thanking her and proposing Tuesday."
The assistant looks up Sara in your contacts, drafts a polite reply, and presents it for your review. Edit the draft by replying in the same thread, then approve when you're happy.
Steps
Ask the assistant to draft an email
Open the assistant and describe what you need: who it's to, the purpose, and any key details. For example: "Draft an email to the team announcing Friday's product demo at 3pm."
Watch it look up the contact and write the body
The assistant resolves the recipient from your connected contacts and composes the message. If no contact is found it uses the name or address you provided.
Review the draft in the approval card
The draft appears in an approval card — read the subject line, body, and recipient before you do anything. If something's off, reply in the chat: "Make the tone more formal" or "Add a note about RSVPs." The assistant rewrites and shows a new card.
Approve to send
Click Approve when the draft is right. The assistant sends it through your connected email account. If you want to discard it instead, click Decline.
Sending always requires your explicit approval — the assistant never sends email on your behalf without it. You can attach up to 5 files totalling 25 MB before approving.
